A suicide bomber has killed at least 45 soldiers at a miltary base in Yemen, according to government officials.
The deadly blast in the southern port city of Aden, which is under the control of the internationally recognised government in exile in Saudi Arabia, targeted troops waiting to collect their pay, it has been reported.
It is the latest attack on forces allied to the Saudi-led military coalition.
The Kingdom intervened in Yemen's civil war in March, 2015, to battle the Iran-backed Houthi rebels.
However, it has failed to oust the group from the capital Sanaa despite thousands of air strikes.
At least 10,000 people have been killed in the bloody conflict that has led to a humanitarian crisis in one of the Arab world's poorest countries.
