US - A giant 'blob' of foam has taken over the streets of a Californian town after leaking from an airport hangar.
Emergency crews say the foam is a fire retardant at San Jose International Airport which was released accidentally.
The foam spread around two tanker trucks and almost completely covered road signs in Santa Clara.
One local man, who tried to cycle through the foam, told reporters: "It just feels like soap, it smells like it too.
"I couldn't see anything. In the middle it's probably 10ft tall. I tried to stand up in the middle to see where I was going but I couldn't get out of it."
It tweeted that a fire suppression system at the airport had malfunctioned and that local agencies were providing support.
