More than a dozen people have been seriously injured in a train crash in southern France, say rescuers.
The train, which was travelling from Nimes to Montpellier, derailed near the small town of Le Cres, just east of its destination.
A spokeswoman for the local prefecture in the Herault region said the most seriously injured person was evacuated by helicopter.
Around 80 rescue workers went to the scene, where national rail operator SNCF said "access is very difficult".
