The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Monday, questioned the Spokesman for the Goodluck Jonathan Campaign Organisation for hours, asking him to return the N840 million he received a few days to the Presidential election last year.

The interrogation lasted from 10am to the evening with the Forefront learning about his detention till 7pm and the EFCC requesting two sureties from him and other conditions for his bail as at 7pm, requests which he was unable to meet up with at the time of tracking the interrogation.

Although the former minister had insisted that he got the money to do specific assignments given him by the former president.

However it was learnt that the EFCC, asked him to produce the cash or nothing else.

More details to follow.
