Storm Gertrude has wrecked a spectacular tree-lined avenue which was a backdrop for the hit fantasy drama Game Of Thrones.
Several trees making up the famous Dark Hedges in Co Antrim, Northern Ireland, came down in the high winds.
Thousands of homes and businesses have been left without power across the UK after being ravaged by Storm Gertrude.
The beech trees were planted in the 18th century by a local family, the Stuarts, with the intention of creating an impressive entrance to their nearby Georgian mansion, Gracehill House.
They are one of the most photographed natural landmarks on the island of Ireland.

The tourist attraction recently achieved global prominence after appearing on Season Two of the HBO series.
Much of the award-winning show is shot in Northern Ireland, either on location or in studios in Belfast.
The Dark Hedges and other locations featured in the series have seen visitor numbers surge.
The road is likely to be closed to traffic for the remainder of Friday as Northern Ireland's Roads Service works to remove three fallen trees.
