The leader of the Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB), Comrade Kingsley Madu, has declared that Lagos, Abuja, and other cities where Igbos reside and own major investments are all part of Biafra.

The Punch Newspaper quoted him as making the declaration on Thursday in Enugu State during a rally organised to welcome Innocent Oji, leader of the Biafra National Guard, a pro-Biafra group, recently released from prison.

The founder of the Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra, Chief Ralph Uwazuruike, has said the Federal Government is using the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, to destroy Biafra.

In an interview in the current edition of The Interview, Uwazuruike accused Kanu of working hand-in-glove with the security services to destabilize the struggle for Biafra, starting with the forthcoming November 18 governorship election in Anambra State.

Nigeria - The founder of the Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB), Ralph Uwazuruike, has alleged that there is an alliance between the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, and the Department of State Service (DSS).

Speaking in an interview published on the Sun newspapers on Sunday, August 27, the pro-Biafra agitator alleged that the DSS was giving financial backing to Nnamdi Kanu to spite him.

MASSOB warns the FG against re-arresting Nnamdi Kanu

Nigeria - The Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra, MASSOB, on Sunday warned the federal government that re-arresting pro-Biafran leader, Nnamdi Kanu, could lead to crisis in the country.

Kanu, leader of another pro-Biafran group, Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, was arrested and detained by the federal government for alleged treason in 2015.

Police confirm arrest of IPOB and MASSOB members in Ebonyi over May 30 sit-at-Home Order

Nigeria - The Police in Ebonyi on Saturday confirmed the arrest of some members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) in various part of the state for alleged unlawful sensitisation programme.

The command’s spokesman, DSP Jude Madu, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Saturday that the arrested suspects also included members of the Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB).

BIAFRA: IPOB extends sit-at-home order to 14 cities including Northern Nigeria

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has extended its sit-at-home order declared on May 30, 2017 to other parts of Nigeria where Biafrans and supporters reside.

The order was extended to states like Kano, Kaduna, Jos, Makurdi, Ibadan, Benin, Abuja, Lagos, Lokoja, Gigawa, Jalingo, Mubi, Yola, Lafia, among others.

Nigeria - A splinter group of the Movement for the Actualisation of Sovereign States of Biafra (MASSOB) has said it will deploy civil protests similar to the kind used during the emancipation struggle of Ghandi of India & Martin Luther King Jr. to cripple Nigeria, if Nnamdi Kanu is not released in seven days, Daily Post reports.

The group disclosed this in a statement issued on Sunday by its Director of Information, Comrade Uche Madu.

MASSOB says defectors to APC in the South East are enemies of Biafra

Nigeria - Movement for Actualization of Sovereign State of Biafra, MASSOB, yesterday, took a swipe on some politicians from South-East who recently defected to the All Progressives Congress, APC, branding them “real enemies of Biafra.”

MASSOB National Director for Publicity, Samuel Edeson, in a statement in Enugu, said the group aligns with the position of Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu, who accused the defectors of selfish pursuit, adding that the defectors have no political value in Igboland.
