CSOs Call For Arrest Of Ex-Governor Umahi For Allegedly Forging BVAS Report

No fewer than 30 Civil Society Organisations and human rights groups have called for the arrest and prosecution of the immediate past governor of Ebonyi State and Senator representing Ebonyi South Zone, for allegedly forging the BVAS report of the Independent National Electoral Commission.

Court remands LP Ebonyi South senatorial candidate, Okorie in prison

A High Court sitting in Abakaliki on Tuesday remanded the Ebonyi South Senatorial candidate of the Labour Party, LP, Linus Okorie, in the correctional centre.

Okorie was arraigned in court on a five count-charge, bordering on fake news, murder, harbouring drug traffickers and two other charges.
