Nigeria moves to re-open borders with Benin Republic, signs 12-point communique

In line with the Federal Government’s drive to facilitate trade and improve Nigeria’s economy to become globally competitive, a delegation of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), led by the Ag. Comptroller General of Customs, Bashir Adewale Adeniyi has paid a working visit to the Republic of Benin and signed a 12-point communique which aims to fully re-open the border between both countries, a statement signed on Tuesday by National Spokesman of Customs, Abdullahi Maiwada revealed.

Republic of Benin - A 25-year-old female pastor who claims to have fallen from heaven and calls herself God, has reportedly sworn to defeat the devil.

According to reports, a 25-year-old female preacher known as Vicentia Tadagbe Tchranvoukinni, has set tongues wagging with her claims to be a God who will defeat the Devil soon.

Vicentia who is the founder of the Very Holy Church of Jesus Christ of Baname, in Benin Republic, said she fell from heaven and has the power to stop the devil's reign.

Republic of Benin - An anti-voodoo cult has lost 5 of its members, they are said to have died from asphyxiation in Benin Republic.

Asphyxiation is the state or process of being deprived of oxygen, which can result in unconsciousness or death.

NAN reports that several more were hospitalised after a religious cult told followers to seal themselves into prayer rooms and burn incense and charcoal, residents and a survivor said.
