The 40- year- old diabetic died shortly after he was taken to Suleja General Hospital.He was a taxi driver plying Suleja- Abuja route.
Commissioner for Health and Hospital Services, Dr. Muhammad Makusidi, who disclosed these in Minna, stated that the post-mortem test of the deceased revealed he was positive and died of the virus.
He said that contact tracing has commenced with immediate effect.
Maikunsidi further said that the National Center for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed eight new cases in the State.
He added that seven of the eight cases are Almajiri returnees from Zaria, Kaduna State while the eighth case is the deceased.
