Nigeria - Report says suspected herdsmen have killed 28-year-old Austine Nwaeke allegedly over the killing of a cow in Albert Camp, Delta State.
The camp, a farming settlement populated mainly by migrant farmers and artisans, is located in the hilly suburbs of Oshimili South council of the state.
His widow Jennifer said the gunshot woke her up.
“I ran out of the house and saw my husband dead in front of the door,” she said.
Police spokesman Onome Onowakpoyeya confirmed the incident, saying the killers were being hunted, The Nation reports.
