40-yr-old Covid-19 patient delivered of a baby at LUTH

Nigeria - A 40-year old COVID-19 patient has been successfully delivered of a baby girl at LUTH.


The management of the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, Idi-Araba, announced the delivery via its twitter handle, @LUTHoffical. The tweet read;




A team of LUTH Drs, anaesthetists & nurses delivered a woman with Covid19 of a baby girl this afternoon
40yr old mother & 3.3kg baby are doing fine
Our gratitude go to these gallant men & women & all warriors making d nation proud in d face of this scourge.
The COVID-19 status of the baby is yet to be ascertained.
