Nigeria - President Muhammadu Buhari has reappointed Uchechi N. Orji as Managing Director of the Nigeria Sovereign Investment Authority (NSIA) and has approved the nomination of Isa Hayatu Chiroma as Director General of the Nigerian Law School.

Presidential spokesperson Femi Adesina announced this on Thursday.
Mr. Orji was originally appointed as Managing Director of the NSIA in 2012 and served a five-year term, which is renewable for one more term.
The Buhari renewed his term due to the success recorded by the NSIA under Mr. Orji’s watch. According to Mr. Adesina, the NSIA’s assets now stand at over $2 billion, which is invested in infrastructural and economic stabilization funds.
The presidency also announced the approval of Mr. Chiroma, who will succeed Olanrewaju Onadeko as Director General of the Nigerian Law School. Mr. Onadeko is due for retirement.
Mr. Chiroma is a professor of law and currently serves as Deputy Director of the Yola campus of the Nigerian Law School. He is a native of Adamawa State.
