Nigeria - Elders in Owerri, Imo State reportedly gathered at the graveside of one of their ancestors, the late Sir Arugo to petition him against the State Governor, Rochas Okorocha.
The move follows the demolition of Ekeukwu market at the governor’s order and the uprisings that came with it.
Here’s what Facebook user, Ichie Chinedum-Cham Agiriga wrote;
“Owerri elders gathered today at the graveside of Late Sir Arugo to pour libation, lay curses on Rochas and invoke the spirit of the dead forefathers against the governor for relocating the ancestral Eke Ukwu Owerri market.
