Its a sad one for Barcelona and new French signing Ousmane Dembele as he has been ruled out for four months after injuring his hamstring in yesterday's game against Getafe streamed live on The Forefront Media HD4 sports, a match Barcelona won from behind 2-1.
A club statement read: "The tests have come back following first team player Ousmane Dembélé who has ruptured the tendon in his femoral bicep in his left thigh.
"The player will be operated on by Dr. Sakari Orava in Finland this week.
"He is expected to be out for between three and a half months and four months."
This is coming at a time the young attacker is adapting to the club and his promising debut came to an abrupt end in the 23rd minute of the match.
The Forefront Media Sports can authoritatively confirm that Dembele is ruled out till January 2018. He will consequently miss out from international duties with France in few weeks.
