Forty-two people were Tuesday morning injured when an incoming high-speed train struck an unoccupied train car inside an Upper Darby just outside Philadelphia.
According to Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) spokeswoman, Heather RedfernFour people, including the train's conductor, were rushed to area hospitals shortly after the incident occurred at approximately 12:15 a.m. at the 69th Street Terminal.
The train crashed into an empty train parked on the tracks. “There was blood everywhere,” said one passenger who identified himself as Ronnie “There was this driver all banged up and there was this one girl bleeding out of her face pretty bad.”
