Ugandan Pastor who burnt bibles lands in court

A Ugandan Pastor, Aloysius Bugingo landed in Court over the alleged burning of bibles during the lenten season about  three months ago.
Recall we reported in April of his act during lenten season.

Read that report here
The lent is a 40 days fasting usually observed by Christian ( especially Orthodox) before Easter celebration.

The pastor was alleged to have burnt copies of Goodnews, King James and other versions of the bible saying it was misleading.
He cited a part of the bible where the ‘Holy Spirit’ was referred to as ‘Holy ghost’.
Some Pastors and Christians sued the pastor accusing him that “It is criminal for him to burn Bibles because it goes against the constitution which guarantees freedom of worship and he is abusing the objects of worship which include Bibles, Qurans, rosaries and any other items people may choose to use during worship.”
The Court Chief Magistrate Esther Nasambu has given Pastor Aloysius Bugingo 15 days to file for defense on allegations of ‘violating Christian’s freedom of worship’
The two contend that Bugingo’s actions ‘tantamount to an attack and insult of all Christians’ who believe in the Bible and they want the court to issue a permanent injunction restraining Bugingo and his followers from burning and destroying Bibles.
A post however said that Pastor Aloysius on his church media platform denied the allegations.
