Cristiano Ronaldo does not want to see Kylian Mbappe join him at Real Madrid.
Spanish outlet, Diario Gol, claims that this is because he is wary of losing his star status at the club.
The Champions League winners are reported to be the favourite to sign Mbappe from Monaco.
But Ronaldo is reportedly worried sharing the spotlight with Mbappe will harm his chances of winning the Ballon d’Or again and would not look kindly on the blockbuster signing.
The Portugal captain, who himself has been linked with Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United this summer, only confirmed he would not leave the Santiago Bernabeu last week.
