Nigeria - Fifteen-year-old Miss Joyce Imasuen Osaivbie was on Wednesday surprised when a birthday party was organised in her honour by the immediate past governor of Edo State, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole.
Osaivbie is a student of Queens College Lagos. She is visually impaired but highly intelligent, Victor Oshioke who shared a video of the birthday celebration wrote about the lady.

The birthday girl, whose brother and father are also visually challenged met the former governor and his wife Iara Oshiomole a few years ago and since then, they have remained very close.
It was gathered that from the moment they met, the responsibility for the 15-year-old’s education and personal needs have been taken over by the Oshiomoles and she has been fondly refer to her their daughter.
On June 7, which was the lady’s birthday, the former governor decided to honour her in a grand style by paying her a surprise visit in their modest family home with a beautiful cake to celebrate the special day.
To add colour and glamour to the visit he went with an entourage of over 40 persons which included the honourable Speaker of the Edo House of Assembly, the Deputy Speaker, Majority Leader, 18 other honourable members of the House, ex-commissioners and his personal aides.
