Naira again strengthens against the dollar, closes at N457 per Dollar

The Nigerian Naira on Tuesday, March 14, made it back-to-back gain against the American Dollar at the parallel market.
This follows report that the local currency gained three points to trade at N457 per dollar from the previous rate of N460.

Recall that the Nigerian currency had exchange at N460, from N463 posted on Friday, March 10.
The Naira also strengthened against the Pound Sterling as it now trades at N547 as against the previous rate of N550.
However, the local currency dropped four points against the Euro as it now trades at N480, from the previous rate of N476.
At the interbank window, the Naira closed at N306.25 to a dollar.
Traders at the market were hopeful that improved liquidity at the interbank market would lead to a fuller recovery of the Naira.
