Nigeria - The Kaduna State Governor, Mallam Nasir El'rufai, has debunked rumours of being flown abroad to receive medical attention, after photos of the Governor with his classmates at the United Nations University-Merit, Netherland, where he enrolled in as a part-time PhD student of philosophy in governance and policy analysis, was shared by his lecturer, Dr. Joe Abah.


The UNU-MERIT, ranked sixth among the world best universities, is a research and training institute of the United Nations University and Maastricht University, based in the South of the Netherlands. The University has also been closely involved in research for a variety of UN agencies.
