Manchester United have turned down a £19 million offer from Everton for midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin, according to the Uk Guardian.
The Frenchman is high on Ronald Koeman's January shortlist, but the Toffees may have to stump up the £24 million fee that the Red Devils paid for Southampton in 2015.
Schneiderlin has made just eight Premier League appearances this season under Jose Mourinho and is expected to leave Old Trafford, with Everton looking for a replacement to strengthen their midfield options.
Idrissa Gueye played his final game for the Merseyside club before departing for the Africa Cup of Nations, a 3-0 victory over Southampton on Monday afternoon.
