Tanzania arrive for Eagles Afcon clash at Uyo, Nigeria

Tanzania have arrived ahead of Saturday's Africa Cup of Nations encounter with Nigeria.

The Taifa Stars landed in the Abuja aboard an Ethiopian Airline flight before another trip to Uyo where they battle for supremacy against the three-time African kings.

Charles Mkwasa's men who are in search of their first win over the Super Eagles after five previous clashes were welcomed by NFF's head of protocol Tunde Aderibigbe as the federation's deputy general secretary Dr. Emmanuel Ikpeme received them at the Akwa Ibom International Airport.

The team will be lodged at Le Meridien hotel, Uyo.
Meanwhile, match officials for the game, Bokinda Inyangi (match commissioner) , Mehdi Abid Charef , Abdelhak Etchiali, Ahmed Tamen and Mustapha Ghorbal are now in the Akwa Ibom State capital.

Nigeria will play Tanzania on Saturday at the Godswill Akpabio stadium in what looks like a rehearsal for next month’s 2018 World Cup qualification fixture against Zambia in Ndola.
