PHOTONEWS: NIGERIA -Pro-Biafra protesters ground Lagos Int’l Market over Kanu





 Pro-Biafra protesters on Wednesday, grounded vehicular and commercial activities at the Alaba International Market, Ojo Local Government Area, Lagos, in a mega rally to call for the immediate and unconditional release of Radio Biafra Director and Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu. In a statement yesterday, IPOB had disclosed that it will hold its rally along the Alaba International Market axis, as well as visit several Embassies and High Commissions, the Amnesty International and UN offices, in Victoria Island and Ikoyi axis of Lagos, to deliver protest letters.

Meanwhile, armed Policemen, Vanguard gathered, were at the scene of the protest to ensure there was no breakdown of law and order.
