Russia and Iran Warn US They Will ‘Respond With Force’ If This Ever Happens Again...
It has been revealed that Russia and Iran have warned the US they will “respond with force” if their own “red lines” are crossed in Syria.
The Independent reports that following Friday’s cruise missile strike on a Syrian airbase, in retaliation for the chemical attack on Khan Sheikhoun earlier in the week, the alliance supporting Syrian President Bashar al-Assad made a joint statement threatening action in response to “any breach of red lines from whoever it is”.

Nigeria - Former President Olusegun Obasanjo, on Sunday revealed why the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, was losing some cases.
Obasanjo believes that the EFCC was losing cases due to its failure to engage what he called “staunch ogbologbo lawyer,” stressing that most of the lawyers employed were outsiders.
He made the remark in response to a charge by President Muhammadu Buhari to the anti-graft agency to stop losing cases.

Islamic State launches two suicide attacks on US-backed Syrian rebels
Islamic State militants launched two suicide attacks on U.S.-backed Syrian rebels near the border with Iraq, leaving at least 12 dead in the fighting and many wounded, rebel sources said on Sunday.
They said eight Islamic State fighters and four of their own men died.
An attack at midnight on a heavily defended base near the al Tanf border crossing involved at least one explosive-laden vehicle that rammed an entrance to the base.
India, China navies stop suspected Somali pirate attack on merchant vessel
A Chinese navy ship supported by an Indian navy helicopter thwarted an attack by suspected Somali pirates on a Tuvalu-flagged merchant ship, India's defense ministry said on Sunday.
The ship, known as OS 35, was reported to be under attack on Saturday.
The Indian defense ministry said four of its navy ships in the vicinity responded to a distress signal from the ship and reached the bulk carrier early on Sunday.

A Russian computer programmer, Pyotr Levashov, has been arrested in the Spanish city of Barcelona, a spokesman for the Russian embassy in Madrid said on Sunday.
It was unclear why Levashov was arrested. The embassy spokesman declined to give details for his arrest, and Spanish police and the interior ministry were not available for comment on Sunday.

Lufthansa Airlines says it will resume flights on April 20 at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja following the planned reopening of the airport on April 19.
The Airline’s Communication Manager in Nigeria, Mr Hakeem Jimo, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Sunday that Lufthansa was ready to resume operation in Abuja when the airport reopens.
