Nigeria - Two people have been reported killed in a car accident that involved an SUV Utility car conveying relatives of yet to be identified persons getting married on Saturday afternoon in Ibadan.
It was reported that the SUV which was among the cars in the convoy conveying the relatives of the couple got involved in the road mishap killing the duo on the spot.

The Nigerian Army has debunked reports claiming that Boko Haram abducted 22 women from Pulka during an attack.

In a statement released in Maiduguri on Saturday, Army spokesman, Brigadier General Sani Usman, said the report was false as Pulka was heavily fortified.
“The attention of the Nigerian Army has been drawn to a news story circulating on Social Media and some mainstream media that suspected Boko Haram terrorists have allegedly attacked Pulka and abducted 22 women, attributing it to an unidentified Bulama as source.

A large fire has broken out at a high-rise residential complex under construction near Dubai's largest shopping mall, filling the sky with thick grey smoke.

A South Korean cargo vessel is missing after making its last contact in the South Atlantic about 2,500 kilometers (1,500 miles) from shore and 22 crew members are unaccounted for, South Korea's foreign ministry and news reports said on Sunday.
Two Filipino crew members have been rescued floating in a life raft on Saturday, but other lifeboats and rafts found in the area were empty, South Korea's Yonhap news agency reported.

The Senate had last week stepped down the confirmation of 27 Resident Electoral Commissioners whose nominations were sent by Buhari for two weeks over the President’s failure to implement some of the resolutions of the National Assembly.

Cerebrospinal Meningitis outbreak in Nigeria has killed 328 in 16 states



More than 2,524 people have so far been affected by the Cerebrospinal meningitis (CSM) outbreak, with 328 deaths recorded in ninety Local Government Councils of 16 states of the federation.
The Federal Ministry of Health, which churned out these frightening statistics, also disclosed that so far, a total 131 samples have been confirmed in the Laboratory, out of which a majority is Neisseria Meningitides type C.

Nigeria - Almost three years after Boko Haram hauled over 200 girls from their school in Chibok, Borno State, into captivity, the terror sect has killed at least four people and seized scores of women and children at different locations in the state.

One of the attacked villages was razed.


The abduction is believed to be one of the biggest since the April 14, 2014 raid of Chibok.
