Tiger Woods receiving ‘professional help’ to manage pain medications

Tiger Woods said on Monday he is receiving “professional help” to manage his use of the medications he takes to relieve back pain and insomnia, following his arrest for driving while intoxicated last month.

Florida police found the 41-year-old asleep behind the wheel of his vehicle in the early hours of May 29.

Footage of Tiger Woods being given a breathalyser test in custody after allegedly driving under the influence has been released by police.

The golf star, 41, was arrested in Florida on Monday after officers spotted a Mercedes parked at the side of a six-lane road, partially in a bicycle lane.
