None Academic staff of varsities suspend two-week industrial action

Nigeria - The two-week strike by the Non teaching staff of Nigerian Universities under the auspices of the Joint Action Committee has been  suspended.

They embarked on the strike to compel government to implement agreements reached with the union with a threat to resume the action if the government fail to implement the agreement.

More worries as NASU, NAAT, SSANU strike cripples Universities

Nigeria - The strike declared by Non Academic Staff Union of Universities (NASU), National Association of Academic Technologists (NAAT) and Senior Staff Academic of Universities (SSANU) yesterday effectively crippled many public universities across the country.

The strike, coming after the one declared by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), has further paralysed activities in the universities.

Non-academic unions of varsities to begin strike on Monday

Nigeria -  The three non-academic staff unions comprising the National Association of Academic Technologists (NAAT), Non-Academic Staff Union of Educational and Associated Institutions (NASU) and Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SAANU), would begin an indefinite industrial action from Monday, September 11, 2017.
