Former presidential candidate Ted Cruz has apparently 'liked' a hardcore pornography video on his official Twitter page.

The Texas senator's verified account pressed 'like' on an x-rated clip from an account called "Sexual Posts" on Monday night.

The clip, which appeared in Mr Cruz's likes, was removed about 40 minutes later.

House panel to probe possible Russia-Trump campaign collusion

The US House of Representatives intelligence committee will investigate allegations of collusion between Donald Trump's presidential campaign and Russia, the top Democrat on the panel said on Wednesday.

"We have reached a written agreement, the minority and the majority in the House intelligence committee, that we will investigate allegations of Russian collusion with the Trump campaign," Democratic Representative Adam Schiff said on MSNBC.

Senior Republicans have criticised Donald Trump's executive order banning people from seven Muslim countries from coming to the US.

Senator John McCain said the President's order has been "confusing" and raised a number of questions.

He said the order, which has led to hundreds of people being detained at airports around the world and unable to fly, could give Islamic State propaganda material.
