Oh crazy gosh! Robbery suspect glad Police bullets didn’t kill him

Nigeria - A member of a robbery gang, Wasiu Ganiu, that shot the Divisional Police Officer of Ogbere Division has expressed joy that he was not cut down in a  gale of bullets during a gun duel between his gang and Operatives of the Federal Special Anti – Robbery Squad (FSARS), Ogun State.

The DPO of  Ogbere Division was shot at close range last September 13 when members of Wasiu’s robbery gang ambushed him and his team. They also stole the DPO’s AK 47 rifle.

Nigeria - Five suspects have been arrested over the shooting of a Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Daniel Nwankwo of the St. Thomas Catholic Church Onireke, on Friday.

Nigeria - The Police in Lagos State have arrested a 35-year-old barbecue (suya) seller, Alliu Abdulahi, for allegedly attempting to slaughter a four- year-old girl for Suya.

The suspect had allegedly abducted the girl at White Sand area of Ebute Meta, while she was playing with her mates in an open field.

Zidane arrested for armed robbery and serial killing

Nigeria - The Imo State Police Command has arrested a 24-year-old wanted armed robber in the state, Somadina Uzoho, popularly known as Zidane.

According to Punch, Zidane, a dropout from the Department of Electrical Electronics from Federal Polytechnic, Nekede, had escaped to Ghana in 2012 after allegedly engaging in deadly criminal operations.

Nigerian Navy intercepts 559kg of Carnabis, arrests three suspects

Operatives of the Nigerian Navy Ship (NNS) BEECROFT have arrested three suspected drug traffickers including a Beninnois, caught smuggling 559kgs of Carnabis Sativa (Marijuana) into Lagos.

Nautey Akiti, 33, Jelili Anu, 25 and Kunnuyi Danului, 24 were arrested on February 5, at Ikare waterways, with 11 bags containing carefully packed dried weeds, with an estimated N10million street value.
