NDLEA nabs India-bound fake couple who ingested 184 wraps of cocaine for $7,000

The operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency(NDLEA), have arrested a fake couple, Mr Ilonzeh Kingsley Onyebuchi and Mrs Ilonzeh Roseline Nonyelum who were disguised as going for medical treatment in India, for ingesting 184 wraps of cocaine weighing 3.322 kilograms with 100grams of the drug also concealed in the woman’s private part.

Spokesperson of the agency, Femi Babafemi, in a statement on Sunday, September 18, said Onyeka was sentenced to seven years imprisonment in Ethiopia for drug trafficking offences and released from prison in 2020.

HARD DRUGS!!! NDLEA seizes 3,892kg of hard drugs in Oyo State

Nigeria - The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency ( NDLEA ) in Oyo State says it has  seized 3,891.875 kg of suspected hard drugs and secured 15 convictions in the first quarter of 2018.

The State Commander, Mrs Omolade Faboyede,  said  this in a statement made available to the News men on Wednesday in Ibadan.

Tragedy as gunmen kill 3 NDLEA operatives

Nigeria - Three operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have been shot dead by gunmen in Okene.

The Commandant of the NDLEA in Kogi, Alhaji Idris Bello, told reporters on Sunday in Lokoja that the three operatives were gunned down while on patrol.
