Abuja-Kaduna train attack: Four staff still in captivity 6 months on - NRC MD


Four workers of the Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) are still in captivity of terrorists six months after the attack on the Abuja-Kaduna train. 

 

The Managing Director of NRC, Fidet Okhiria, disclosed this while addressing journalists during a press briefing in Lagos on Wednesday, September 28.

NNPC shuts Kaduna, Warri refineries over operation costs, TAM

Nigeria - The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) has indefinitely shut down two of the nation’s three refineries due to increase in their operation costs and several maintenance interventions.

Good News as DSS arrests members of Islamic terrorist groups planning to attack Abuja, Kaduna, other states

Nigeria - No fewer than five members of Islamic State of West Africa, ISWA, terrorists group have been arrested by the Department of State Services, DSS.
DSS, in a statement by its spokesperson, Tony Opuiyo said the terrorists were planning to unleash mayhem and destruction on the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja, Kano, Kaduna, Niger, Bauchi, Yobe and Borno States during the last Eid-Kabir Sallah festivities.

Nigeria - Several passengers, including children, were stranded at Kaduna International Airport since on Tuesday, following the failure of Arik Airlines to airlift them as scheduled.
