LeBron James' Son Bronny Suffers Cardiac Arrest During Practise

Bronny, son of the Lakers superstar of the National Basketball Association, LeBron James was rushed to hospital after suffering a cardiac arrest during a workout at the University of Southern California on Monday, July 24.

The 18-year-old basketballer was taken in an ambulance from USC's Galen Center where the school basketball team practices after a 911 call reportedly was made at about 9.26 am on Monday, TMZ reported on Tuesday.

Bronny, who has been preparing for his first season of college basketball with USC was believed had a Code 3 incident and rushed to the ICU, hence the ambulance lights and sirens.

According to a family statement, "Yesterday while practising, Bronny James suffered a cardiac arrest. Medical staff was able to treat Bronny and take him to the hospital. He is now in stable condition and no longer in ICU.

"We ask for respect and privacy for the James family and we will update the media when there is more information.

Jalen Brunson and Trae Young among other NBA players tweeted their support and prayers for James.
