Through President Tinubu Nigeria will rise — Ex-CAN president Ayokunle

The former president, Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Dr. Supo Ayokunle, says Nigeria will rise through the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Speaking at a recent event in Ibadan, Oyo State, Ayokunle urged Tinubu to put away politics and allow the interest of the nation to be at the top of his agenda.

According to TheNation, the cleric said although Tinubu understands the problem Nigerians are facing and has promised not to disappoint them, he and other clerics will continue to pray for him so that his administration will have meaningful impact on Nigerians.

Adelakun said the Tinubu administration would succeed because clerics would pray for people in position of authority.

He urged the president to priotise security, economy, health care, education and other issues affecting the nation.
