Former Oyo Governor Abiola Ajimobi is dead - Family source



Nigeria - Immediate past governor of Oyo State Abiola Ajimobi has died in Lagos, a family source has revealed.


He was 70 years old. He has been on admission in a Lagos Hospital after contracting coronavirus which took a toll on his health lately before his death.
He was the governor of Oyo State between 2011 and 2019.
  1. Ajimobi was recently named acting APC chairman last week following suspension of Adams Oshiomhole who has sinced been removed as APC chairman.
