APC picks Worgu Boms to replace Giadom in Rivers State

Nigeria - Former Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Mr. Worgu Boms has been chosen by the leadership of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State to fill the vacant post of the Deputy National Secretary of the party.

Worgu will be replacing Hon. Victor Giadom, who had resigned from the position in 2018 to be running mate to Tonye Cole, Rivers governorship aspirant in the 2019 election. Giadom has now declared himself the National Chairman of the party after securing a court order to that effect.

National Vice Chairman South South, Hon. Hillard Eta made announcement of Worgu replacing Giadom at the National Secretariat of the party in Abuja on Saturday June 20.
