Timi Frank, a former spokesperson of APC made the allegation in a recent interview. Frank alleged that the FIRS which is headed by Tunde Fowler, a strong ally of Vice President Osinbajo, released N90 billion to the Vice President to facilitate the APC's campaign in the 2019 general election.
