A Nigerian asylum seeker in Italy has died after he was stabbed multiple times by his girlfriend.
24-year-old Callistus Imoyera was reportedly killed with knife wounds to the chest in a flat in central Brindisi Sunday night.
Imoyera, also known as Evangelist lgg, was killed after a row with a woman who lived with him. The woman is believed to be his girlfriend.

The woman has been placed under investigation in the murder case.
