Nigeria - The Festus Keyamo Chambers, counsel to Stephanie Otobo has reacted to his client’s confession that she lied against Apostle Johnson Suleman.

This development is coming on the heels of the recent confession by Ms. Otobo that she was paid heavily by politicians to frame up Apostle Suleman.
Ms Otobo was quoted as saying “some powerful politicians and pastors manipulated me in a wrong way to fault the man of God.
“They made me tell lies against him, because of my desperation for my career and I succumbed to it.”
When contacted, Ms. Otobo’s lawyer, Festus Afeiyadion refused to confirm or deny the video.
“We saw the video online on Saturday morning but we are yet to get any formal statement from Stephanie confirming or debunking the video. We are lawyers and we only act on our client’s instructions. So, we don’t have any comment on the matter.
“No comment, we are waiting to hear from our client first before we know the next line of action,” he told Premium times.
Meanwhile mixed reactions have trailed Ms. Otobo’s confession as many Nigerians, including Daddy freeze have asked the singer to release names of the politicians that paid her.
