
Nigeria - A fake army colonel has been apprehended by some military personnel on July 12 along Mokwa/Jebba road while he was driving to Jebba from Lagos state.
He was arrested during the inspection visit of Acting President Yemi Osinbajo to the collapsed Mokwa/Jebba bridge.
Acting President Yemi Osinbajo visited Niger state to assess the collapsed Mokwa-Jebba Bridge in the state.
The fake Army Personnel was driving from Lagos to Jebba when he was arrested by military personnel.
The acting president was also joined by the minister of power, works and housing, Babatunde Fashola, to look at the level of damage of the bridge.
Meanwhile, two army impostors were arrested by troops of 3 Battalion Nigerian Army operating in parts of Delta state. Brigadier General Sani Kukasheka Usman, director Army public relations made this known on Wednesday June 7.
The suspects were arrested dressed in military camouflage uniform while extorting money from commercial tricycle (KEKE NAPEP) drivers and molesting their fellow civilians along Nnebisi Road, Asaba, Oshimili south local government area of Delta state.
Usman gave the name of the two suspects as Emejo Benedict and Onwusuluke Kelechi.
