And NECO disowns recruitment syndicate

Nigeria - The National Examination Council (NECO) has warned of a syndicate claiming to recruit staff for the council.
In a statement, it urged the public to disregard an online publication claiming the council is recruiting through a syndicate.

NECO’s head of information Azeez Sani said job seekers have besieged NECO headquarters with applications following the online publication.
"NECO is not recruiting, since the present Registrar/Chief Executive Office assumed duty last August, no single employment has been made,” he stated warning job seekers to be wary of such mischief.
“The council warns strongly that the publication is the imagination of fraudsters and states emphatically that it has not recruited, is not recruiting and has no immediate plan to recruit”
He said the council would follow due process when it was ready for recruitment, through proper advertisement, while advising the public to disregard the online information.
