Barcelona have confirmed that Ernesto Valverde will be their new coach for the 2017-18 season.

The 53-year-old stepped down after four seasons in a second spell at Athletic Club last week and was widely expected to take over from Luis Enrique this summer.

Oh gosh! Suspect arrested in Mississippi killing of eight people

US - A Mississippi sheriff's deputy and seven other people were killed in multiple locations in rural Lincoln County before a suspect was taken into custody by police, a local newspaper reported on Sunday.

Authorities have not released the identities of the victims or the suspect, The Clarion-Ledger reported.

Nigeria - Some leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) are reportedly mounting pressure on ex-President Goodluck Jonathan to shelve his alleged ambition to contest the 2019 presidential election.
