Shiites: Kaduna State Government orders arrest, prosecution of unlawful society spokesman



Nigeria - Kaduna State Government has ordered the arrest and subsequent prosecution of one Ibrahim Musa,who has owned up to being the spokesperson of an unlawful society, the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN).
This is contained in a statement signed by Special Assistant to the state Governor on Media and publicity, Mr Samuel Aruwan
Aruwan said an order declaring the IMN as an unlawful society in Kaduna State took effect from Oct.7, 2016.

The governor stressed that the DSS lacks the constitutional powers to be involved in the legal process to discipline a serving judicial official, pointing out that there is a legal process that must be followed.

A new combination of smart drugs could extend the lives of thousands of cancer patients, new research shows.
Results of the study reveal that the cocktail of two drugs, ipilimumab and nivolumab, "significantly reduced" the size tumours in 40% of patients with terminal kidney cancer, and 10% of those were left with "no detectable sign of cancer" at all.
